Our home, just out of Jindabyne, NSW, Australia is set on a 24 hectare rural property on the iconic Snowy River has sweeping views to the mountains. In 1974 Grandad bought this slice of paradise and being a true renaissance man he set the property up 100% off-grid, building his own solar system out of things he found. 

So started a life long learning process of how to live more sustainably.   

 

50 years later we have picked up the mantle of reduce, reuse, repair, repurpose, rethink, recycle. Our goal is to give back to the earth and live more lightly, to be custodians of this land and, in the process, leave it better than we found it.  We are still 100% off-grid and still learning new ways of doing things.
